The sun doesn’t question why am I hot; bright?

The moon doesn’t question why I have no light; why I depend on the sun to be illumined.

Both exist as is; accepts itself as each is without any fuss; without any expectations; without any offences yet all is shared without measures; without a price tag; all is received without fears; without conditions; without a trade and in this sharing and receiving both are nourished. Each remains independent and autonomous yet integrated; interconnected. Neither dominates nor submits yet meets each other in acceptance as each is. There is no competition; no comparison; no superiority; no inferiority. There is only existence, full, exuberant, calm, alive, aware, and dynamic.

And what a harmoniously beautiful balance of day and night it creates for the earth; for us! What perfection, isn’t it?

As cosmic companions, let us cultivate the calm, content, intensity, and the fullness of the Sun and the cool luminosity of the Moon within us. 

Let us be present as the Sun and the Moon!
